I'm Craig Heinonen, an Associate Broker with the 906 Real Estate Group
at Coldwell Banker Schmidt, Realtors. Born and raised in the U.P., I
grew up in the country outside Houghton and built my real estate
career in the Marquette area. Since entering the business in 2014,
I've helped buyers and sellers navigate a wide range of properties and
communities across the Upper Peninsula.

My background combines local knowledge with an education in how
properties are built. I earned an associate degree in Civil
Engineering Technology from Michigan Technological University and a
bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Northern Michigan
University. That foundation gives me a practical perspective on homes
and land, helps me ask useful questions, and informs the way I guide
clients through their options.

I believe good real estate service starts with listening and continues
with clear communication. Whether you're buying your first home,
selling a longtime property, relocating, or searching for a waterfront
retreat, I want you to understand the process and feel comfortable

shows what makes a property worth considering. For buyers, I work to

including when a purchase involves coordinating from out of the area.
Through the 906 Real Estate Group, I work with a team whose focus
includes residential homes, vacant land, and waterfront properties
throughout the U.P.

I'm a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist and a Coldwell Banker
Luxury Property Specialist. My professional recognition includes
Coldwell Banker's 2017 30 Under 30, the 2022 International President's
Premier award, and multiple International President's Elite awards.
Our team was also recognized with the 2025 President's Elite award. I
bring the same care and attention to clients across price points.

Outside of real estate, I enjoy the things that make the U.P. such a
special place to live: boating on local waters, spending time along
Lake Superior, camping, hunting, and hockey. That connection to the
area is a big part of why I enjoy helping others find their place
here.
